H-1B1 Visa
H-1B1 Visa Immigration Attorney
The H-1B1 visa is similar to the H-1B visa except it is a specific, temporary work visa for citizens of Singapore and Chile to fill "specialty occupations" in the United States. The beneficiary must be possess a degree that is directly related to the specialty occupation position.
It has a separate, smaller annual cap (1,400 for Chileans, 5,400 for Singaporeans) that is rarely met, meaning there's no lottery. Unlike the H-1B visa, eligible individuals can apply directly at a U.S. consulate or embassy.
The H-1B1 is issued in one-year increments and can be renewed indefinitely.
It is not dual intent, meaning you must demonstrate intent to return to your home country after the temporary employment in the U.S. ends.
